And I’m Back! May 14, 2008

After a busy month or so, thanks to school and plays and internships, I’m back to my blog. Poor thing barely had a chance to start before I left it.

Today, I shall post about movies I desperately want to see. I was rather annoyed when I checked what was out this week and found absolutely nothing watchable. Well, that’s a lie. I need to see Iron man, but other than that… all we have is bad comedy, bad comedy, bad comedy, bad comedy, and Speed Racer, which I refuse to watch for fear of supreme disappointment. So, I will turn my head to the future and take note of movies that might actually NOT SUCK that are coming out soon.

The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian

I was pretty impressed with the first Narnia movie. Sadly, I never did get around to reading the series. Perhaps I should. Anyways, I’ve heard good things about this movie, and as you know, I really can never turn down a good fantasy movie.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Release Date: May 22, 2008
I don’t care if this movie gets horrible reviews. It has Harrison in it. That’s enough for me. An added bonus is Cate Blanchett, who I also love. But seriously? HARRISON. I can hardly contain my drool. Perhaps before it comes out I shall have an Indiana Jones Marathon at my house. Hmm.

Honestly, who isn’t looking forward to this? Of course there will be much sadness over Heath Ledger’s death, but such things won’t and shouldn’t stop me or anyone else from going to see this movie.

STAR FREAKING WARS. I mean, I have mixed feelings about it, but even dismal reviews aren’t going to keep me from seeing it. I’m too much in love with star wars.

Look, I didn’t mind hairspray. And Sweeney Todd was EPIC. But, honestly? Mama Mia sucked on stage. Seriously. It’s painful. UGH.
